How can I refresh a wedding gown at home?

I need to refresh the under arm part of the dress but do not want to dry clean it. Dry cleaning really doesn't ever satisfy the smell real-close-up nose test. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you all in advance for your answers.

try spraying febreeze on the area and odour control febreeze , that might work . And for the woman whos wearing it use a non sweat/wet patch deodrant.
